2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement.

3. Use of the Platform

• Keep your account credentials secure

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Role of trips2

trips2 acts solely as an intermediary between you and third-party providers (“Suppliers”), including car rental companies. We are not the provider of the travel or rental service.

5. Bookings & Payments

5.1 Booking Agreement

Your booking forms a contract directly with the Supplier, not with trips2.

5.2 Pricing

• Prices are shown during booking
• They may include or exclude taxes and fees
• Prices may change until confirmed

5.3 Car Selection & Surcharges

• The default (included) vehicle shows €0 surcharge
• Upgraded vehicles show a total surcharge

This surcharge is:

• For the entire rental period
• Calculated per vehicle
• Not per day and not per person

5.4 Payment

You agree to pay all charges related to your booking.

6. Cancellations & Changes

All cancellations, changes, and refunds are governed by the Supplier’s policies.

• Supplier cancellations
• Schedule changes
• Additional fees imposed by Suppliers

7. Car Rental Disclaimer (IMPORTANT)

For car rental services:

• The rental agreement is between you and the rental provider
• The provider determines:
  • Insurance coverage
  • Deposits
  • Vehicle availability
  • Rental conditions

trips2 is not responsible for:

• Vehicle condition or availability
• Additional charges at pickup (e.g. insurance, fuel, deposits)
• Refusal of service by the rental provider

8. Intellectual Property

All content on trips2 is owned or licensed by us and may not be used without permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided “as is” without guarantees of:

• Availability
• Accuracy
• Reliability

10. Limitation of Liability

• trips2 is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
• We are not liable for Supplier actions
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid through trips2

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify trips2 against claims resulting from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use means acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, USA.
